Review of Mistress America:

Lola Kirke stars as a young college freshman in NYC who is not having the positive experience she had hoped. Lonely and frustrated, she reaches out to her soon-to-be stepsister Greta Gerwig who lives in NYC. 

The two go out for a night on the town and Gerwig's manic, social butterfly persona brings excitement into Kirke's existence. 

This modern screwball comedy has a plot mostly involving Gerwig's attempt to start a restaurant, but is mostly a character piece, bouncing 5 or 6 eccentric characters off each other. I was really enamored with its eccentricity.
